whitney elizabeth studio is a collection of botanically and architecturally inspired surface designs, brought to life on various textile and paper products. From the quaint coastal town of portsmouth, new hampshire, artist whitney somerville gathers inspiration from her surroundings, both in nature and historical design. whitney’s creative process involves hand drawing each motif, then manipulating it digitally before printing and sewing each product as needed. whitney hopes to bring nature and pattern into people’s lives and homes, adding a bit of beauty to their everyday.
